Not for schools only

I have been using Remind101 texts for about a year. I just today discovered there is an app! However, I use it for my daughters cheer gym and team, and my church choir. Neither are "classes" or in a school setting. Nor are the 2 groups I am a member of even related in any way whatsoever to each other or to a school setting. The text system has worked beautifully, but the app is very confusing because it is designed for the educational setting. Until today when I got the app, I never even knew that Remind101 was intended for school use! I wish the app was designed for any kind of groups which is the way I am using it.
