Character counter issue on iPad

Great app! I seriously love it, as its changed how and how often I interact with parents.

On the iPad version, however, the 140 character limit counter does not actually count as you type, forcing you to guess if youre under or not, upon sending.

Please fix this bug. Otherwise, its the best thing since whiteboards!
